Sri Lankan vegetarian curries are incredible – an explosion of colours and flavours! They’re so satisfying that you won’t miss the meat. This meal is VEGAN and GLUTEN FREE
(If you need you can add some chicken to one of the curries)
WHAT’S ON THE MENU?
- Unroasted curry powder used in all Sri Lankan vegetarian curries
- Chickpea and cashew/cauliflower curry (you can add some chicken to this if you need)
- Beetroot curry
- A zesty kale (or rocket) & coriander sambol
- Pol sambol (spicy coconut sambol), which can be made mild
- Papadums & brown rice
YES! All this in 90minutes!
Best thing is that a delicious meal will be ready by the end of the class!

COST: £18 or €20 per household (Note – the currency on Eventbrite is AUD equivalent)

Harder to find ingredients include: whole spices to make the curry powder – coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, peppercorns, cinnamon sticks, mustard seeds; tumeric powder; curry leaves (sub with some bay leaves); pandan leaves (can be left out), papadums;
Other ingredients: onions; ginger; garlic; chickpeas; raw cashews or cauliflower; beetroot; kale; dried grated coconut; coconut milk; red chillies; lemon juice;vegetable or coconut oil; brown or red rice
