With more and more people turning to plant based eating to support both personal and environmental health, it is important to understand the fundamentals. It is a common misconception that plant-based eating means being 100% vegan or vegetarian. In this workshop we will bust common plant-based myths and review health considerations in adapting to a plant-forward style of eating. Join us to learn the basics of how to make nourishing, plant-based meals that work for you and your family. Time for Q & A, so come with questions!

Megan Knipp, BS, NC, is a Holistic Nutritionist, Natural Chef, and Health Educator based in Oakland, CA. Her practice, Megan Knipp Nutrition, bridges the relationship between Holistic Nutrition and Mental Health for physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. Grounded in Functional Nutrition, she takes an integrative, sustainable, whole-self approach to nourishment. Megan empowers her clients to use food as a safe and powerful tool for healing the mind and body.
