Make Vegan Chinese Dumplings from Scratch – Virtual Cooking Class

It’s Ye Ye here. I’m happy to share my favorite Chinese family recipes with you.

Join me on a food adventure. You will learn the basics of Chinese cooking and with it, dive into the soul of our country’s cuisine. As we cook I’ll tell you stories of my family and our connection to the food. Along the way, I will introduce you to the unique Chinese ingredients I work with and will give you my secret tips on cooking my country’s food.

About This Class

This class is about 2 hours long. Class start time is listed in Eastern Standard Time. The shopping/ingredient list will be sent to you one week before the class. I recommend you gather ingredients before the class so you are prepared to join me for the chopping, slicing, mixing, and frying.

*make dumpling wrappers

*wrap a dumpling

*boil and pan-sear dumplings

* freeze and store them

* make a simple but delicious dipping sauce

This is a small class and super interactive. I’d love to hear about your favorite Chinese food and your favorite Chinese restaurant in your city.

Each class is carried out on Zoom. You can download Zoom at www.zoom.us. You’ll receive an email with an ID and password before your class. Login to the Zoom session before the start time.
